Bespoke furniture and architectural joinery, designed and built by hand for homes and institutions across Ghana. This catalogue is a selection of pieces we have made to measure.
Neewoody Custom Woodwork is a bespoke furniture and carpentry workshop based on Amugi Avenue in Accra. Every commission begins with the room it is built for — its dimensions, its light, the way it will be used — and is drawn, cut, finished and installed by our own crew.
We work in laminate and solid hardwood alike: fitted wardrobes and kitchens, dining sets and beds, live-edge tables, and full institutional fitouts. The pages that follow show real installations in clients' homes and premises — no renders, no stock photography.
Built-in, alcove and freestanding wardrobes in laminate and melamine — floor-to-ceiling storage, sliding and hinged doors, integrated drawers, dressers and downlights, fitted to the exact wall.
Two greige oak-effect wardrobes for one property — a wall-to-wall master with four doors, overhead cabinets and a recessed downlight, and a narrow alcove guest unit with a six-shelf tower. Matte black hardware throughout.
Every wardrobe is planned from the inside out — hanging rails, adjustable shelving, drawer banks and cubbies arranged around how the room is actually used. At Adenta, a light ash alcove unit runs entirely handleless on push-to-open doors.

A freestanding wardrobe in dark walnut-effect laminate — two-panel sliding doors above an integrated four-drawer chest in a 2 + 2 configuration, finished with matte black bar handles.

Four wardrobes across one new-build house — a wide master with six drawers, plus a kids' room and two guest bedrooms. Several units carry built-in drawer organisers with fitted compartments.

Fitted kitchens built around the way you cook — laminate cabinetry, stone and quartz worktops, islands with seating, integrated appliances and undermount sinks, from Spintex to the Eastern Region.
Dark espresso cabinetry under a Calacatta marble-effect worktop with gold veining, framed by black aluminium frosted-glass upper cabinets, an undermount sink and an integrated hob.

A large family kitchen in cherry/teak-effect laminate under white engineered quartz, anchored by a freestanding island with an open-shelf end and a seating overhang. Integrated six-burner range and undermount sink.

Platform beds, four-posters, bunks and matching nightstands — built in solid timber and laminate, with feature headboards and integrated bases.
A low platform bed with an integrated base and a matching nightstand, built and finished as a single bedroom set.

Dining sets built to one brief — tables, seating, consoles and banquettes in matched timber, designed as complete rooms rather than single pieces.
A full dining room to one unified brief — a large-format table, six upholstered chairs with linen fabric panels, and a console with full-extension drawers and waterfall-edge sides, all in Hyedua finished in rich espresso.

A complete kitchen dining zone built and installed as one commission — a stained pine X-frame dining table and matching bench, a built-in L-shaped leatherette banquette with under-seat storage, and a timber-framed wall mirror above.
Hardwood at its most expressive — live-edge tables, hand-carved fronts and sculptural seating in Afromosia, Guarea and other Ghanaian timbers.
A Guarea chest of drawers carved with a continuous wave pattern running unbroken across every drawer front, with integrated recessed pulls and a walnut-toned finish — one of the most distinctive pieces in the portfolio.

An Afromosia live-edge dining table on solid timber U-frame legs, commissioned by French expatriates on posting in Ghana — the natural edge of the board kept and finished as the defining feature of the piece.
Larger commissions for venues and institutions — full-property fitouts, branded installations and restaurant furniture, delivered as managed projects from brief to handover.
A full-property teak fitout for a US-based educational NGO at an educational retreat centre in Wli, in the Volta Region — furniture and joinery throughout the buildings and grounds, delivered over twenty-six months.

A branded structural carpentry installation built for Johnnie Walker's 200-year celebration at One Airport Square, Accra — designed and fabricated to a brand brief and installed on site for the event.

Dining and bar furniture for a rooftop restaurant in Accra — custom pine dining tables with branded glass tops, upholstered cube stools paired to the sets and bar, and a large interior bar counter clad in reclaimed-style timber panels with a solid wood top.
Every piece in this catalogue began as a conversation about a room. If you have a space in mind — a wardrobe wall, a kitchen, a dining room, or something we haven't made before — we'd be glad to talk it through and measure up.
